Following September’s unexpected closures, Mott Elementary School has scheduled three make-up days to recover lost instructional time.
- Tuesday, Nov. 4 (Election Day): Mott will hold a virtual instruction day following the reduced-day schedule. Since Mott is a polling location, students and staff will not report to the building but will log on from their iPads. During the virtual day, students and staff will log into their Google Classroom and engage in synchronous instruction. Grab-and-go meal bags will be sent home with students upon dismissal on Monday, Nov. 3, for use on Nov. 4.
- Wednesday, Nov. 5: Mott will hold an in-person make-up day, also following the reduced-day schedule.
- Tuesday, June 2 (NJ Primary Day): Mott will tentatively hold a virtual instruction day. Since Mott is a polling location, students and staff will not report to the building but will log on from their iPads. During the virtual day, students and staff will log into their Google Classroom and engage in synchronous instruction. Grab-and-go meal bags will be sent home with students upon dismissal on Monday, June 1, for use on June 2.
We appreciate the continued patience and flexibility of our families as we make up for lost time. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership.
